HTTP Scoop

SDream reviewed on 21 Jun 2011
HTTP Scoope is exactly what i searched for !
it works perfect with the local interface, airport and ethernet with a router but the app really needs support for the (ppp0) interface. i'm afraid without point-to-point protocol - point-to-point over ethernet support it is useless for me.

NZBVortex

SDream reviewed on 21 Jun 2011
i tired them all and this is definitely and by far the best usenet client for macOS.

some feature suggestions to make NZBvortex even better:

1.
bring back the "preferences" button
into "customize toolbar".

2.
it should stop downloading
when the HDD has only XX GB free space left.

3.
you could improve the RSS include and excludes. have a look at an auto-RSS-files-downloader-app called "automatic" ;)

thank you very much
great new updates
and great committed developer(s).

more long term feature suggestions:

1. for the preview it should be possible to browse to VLC.app (in case VLC is not direct in the applications folder). i made a workaround with a invisble symbolic link.

2. while unpacking / postprocessing,
files played with VLC are lagging badly.
so it would be great to have a "cinematic / entertainment - mode" where the process par2SL and maybe unrar don't get more than XX % CPU.
