Like most of the commenters here, I have nothing good to say about the developer. He's the same person that continues to sell his other torrent app Acquisition, even though it became unusable a long time ago (all results are just spam).
For any developers reading this,, for me, the killer feature that Xtorrent offered (before it stopped working for me under Lion) was built-in, easy torrent search. If anyone knows of a torrent client that does this, pls let me know.
Acquisition stopped connecting. Tried a complete clean re-install of version 2.1 and 2.2 and all related files, preferences and folders - no change. Just won't connect to any network.
I'm speculating that this could possibly be related to Limewire going out of the P2P business, but it could be something else entirely. Any ideas?
Wrote the developer today. Will share here whatever I hear back.
In retrospect, don't know what I was thinking when I thought this particular developer would respond. On par with his past behavior, off course he didn't.
Acquisition is effectively dead (probably because it's based on Limewire, so there's no work-around), but he still has the nerves to keep selling the program.
Same "can't reach the developer any other way" message.
iPhoto '11 does not load Keyword Manager as "untested." Removing the Keyword Manager folder from Applications Support, however, does not un-install the plug-in completely, so iPhoto issues the warning every time it's launched. Need a compatible version of KM or to know where all the pieces of it are so I can manually uninstall it.
