My clients are blown away by images I've retouched with this. The face distortion tool is weird; why would you reshape someone's face? But everything else is awesome, well except the looks. It looks like it was designed by an accountant with no sense of style, pretty bad when you're catering to artists! Usually, I dump apps that are as ugly-as-sin, but I keep this one because there's really nothing else like it! So, if you do lots of tight portraits, this is a must-have... .
Wow, this new version appears to be a whole new animal. Nice integration with Address Book, Mail, etc., no crashes after using it for a full day, beautiful, and some ingeniously easy to use linking features. I'll test it for awhile before I give it a star review, though. I'd be curious to hear what others think since there are no reviews or comments on this new version.
New version looks interesting, and it syncs now. Still has some rough edges, but it is a beta. Starting to take on the flavor of other gtd apps. Also, seems like they're being very responsive to user input. Starting to like this one.
This appears to do some things differently than Aperture's built-in watermark process. It would be nice if the developer would provide a comment on how it is diferent. Also, is it 64 bit so that it will run in Aperture without having to relanch in 32 bit? Thanks.
I've tried and tried to get the sync to work, but no luck. Works ok to make a simple list with projects and tasks at this point, but I was hoping to use it to input items to BusyCal,which is what I use instead of iCal. It creates a calendar in BusyCal/iCal with your project name, but the tasks never seem to show up. Maybe I'll try it again when this is fixed.
Very useful utility for organizing client folders. Very flexible, so you can pretty much work anyway you want. Very simple so you'll actually use it. I've used it for awhile and I love it. The developer provides support when you need it, too.
Just a pleasure to use, and too beautiful for words. This version is extremely easy to navigate and get use of, highly recommended. The only thing missing for me is the lack of a way to prioritize or manually put into order my timeline projects, but I've figured out workarounds for the time being.
Well, I rarely review something that's just bad, but I spent $179 to upgrade to the newest Silverfast (although my estimate before checkout was more like $119; I had put various serial numbers in to see which version would give me the best price, and apparently the checkout process "cached" the one with the highest price. I didn't notice until it was too late since I never viewed the receipt. Actually, I'm using the more advanced version than the one listed here. Anyway, after a few days of experimenting I was finally able to get the stand-alone to see the scanner. VueScan Pro and the Epson software see the scanner without a flaw and without exception, and scan easily. The Silverfast Photoshop plug-in in CS4 still does not work; Photoshop freezes completely and I'm forced to force-quit everything. The stand-alone software in the newest Leopard is a living nightmare. It sees the scaner intermittently, even after following Silverfast's trouble shooting tips. I've tried FireWire and USB with direct computer connections. I'm using the Epson 700. If I'm extremely lucky I can get two or three scans out before everything goes haywire, windows freeze, options vanish, sometimes it won't even launch. Trying to use this software is a real joke, it's costing me thousands of dollars in lost time, not to mention extreme frustration. The implied features of this software are fantastic; it's too bad the SilverFast software engineers are too inept to make them workable. This is a company of thieves and liars.
Interesting looking app from one of my favorite software creators. Would like to see some online examples of finished manuals so we can see what the result might look like.
Will this one allow my Kodak all-in-one to work? I tried the update two versions ago, and it killed my printer. I had to install the entire operating system again.
