Fontcase

From my experiences I'd stay well away from Fontcase! It's slow, buggy and a very disappointing app. I'm part of a small design business and we purchased a 5 seat licence (v01). Unfortunately it drove everyone up the wall and we ended up changing to the more expensive, but excellent FontExplorer.

After a successful trial of software I purchase a group licence for our small design studio.

Impression after using for around a year:
Great price!
Looks lovely can just about works on a single machine as a way for auto activating fonts.

However after 1.5 Fontcase has been flakey at best.

Unfortunately in our experience (using large font libraries) when we're using the app to choose fonts for a client, it becomes very temperamental and has a habit of crashing. We've also found using the network function is a mine field of hangs and crashes.

My personal opinion is to save your money and use a different Font managing software.

Going to give Font Explorer X a trial. However to have a network function for it, I'll need to remortgage my house :)

I love the HyperDock, but I'm having an issue in InDesign. Whilst using the app the horizontal guides no longer work and hang in InDesign. I've had the problem before with apps which allow multiple clip boards. Any ideas?

Wouldn't risk it. Install ok, added my documents and downloads folders, save a massive 250MB from 46GB, wow not! so I turned it off in the System Preference Pane. Now I just get a grey bar on startup and the disk wont repair in disk utilities : (

Cant think what else might have cause this... Any ideas
