I work for an internet radio station and most of the hosts are PC users and use the SAM Broadcaster software which set each of them back by about $300. For less than $100, Nicecast is the best, if not the only, all in one broadcasting package on the Mac.
With the ability to use Audio Units as well as VST Plugins, voice overs, and any other type of effect or audio adjustments, the power to handle a live internet broadcast is all at your fingertips.
As for support, I have had nothing but the best of support from Nullsoft. Every email I have ever sent has been answered in full.
