I have had enough with the crashes with this garbage!!
Not only is it crashing without rhyme or reason with no extensions added to it but I noticed that Firefox 3.6 was uploading without my permission. I have no idea what it was uploading or to where it was uploading. I had no windows open in Firefox so there was no excuse for any bandwidth being used by this rubbish!
I purchased xtorrent when it was still version 1.0 beta. For close to a year there were updates but none ever addressed the bugs I filed for support.
Then along comes version 2. I tried it and found the bugs I had reported for version 1 were fixed but my license was no longer valid from version 1 with the shiny new version 2 which also blanked my version 1 license so I couldn't even switch back to version 1.
What a complete ripoff this lousy software ended up being. Poor support, paid upgrades instead of fixing the problems, poor stability and customers are treated like shit.
I purchased Folx 2 days ago. Folx is not only a download manager but a torrent client as well. It works as advertised, the developer is quick to respond to questions, the price is right and the torrent client isn't banned from any of my haunts.
Deleted xtorrent from my drive and will never return to it even if it was for free!
I bought v2.0.1 recently and I am amazed at how much faster my boot time is and how much better Garage Band loads up too.
I too own Tech Tool Pro 5 and tried their defrag. It was just plain old sloppy.
iDefrag may only be needed a few times a year when big OS X updates have been released but it sure makes things better after the updates. No more waiting on the spinning cursor in Garage Band loading large audio files for me was a dream come true.
My only complaint is this should be included with all new Macs sold on their OS X installer DVDs. I hope Apple is listening!
The copy and paste still does not work and with v0.8 neither does any of the COMMAND key menu commands now too once you open a windows program. The all just beep and nothing more.
Please fix this already. I have been patiently waiting to purchase this but I will not until the copy and paste commands work. Disabling the command key menu commands after opening a program is a step backwards too!
Thank you for the great program but please fix it it already!
The bandwidth exceeded message back again. It's such a shame because this program has some serious promise and potential.
You really need to find an alternative site to host the file from. Otherwise people cannot log onto your site and try to purchase this gem every time this bandwidth message pops up.

Isn't there a rule at MacUpdate against slime ball developer's like this that keep bumping their software with useless tripe?
I purchased Rucksack after watching this disgraceful developer use these slime ball tactics for weeks now.
5 thumbs down!

Deleted and banned from my HD as malware!

I like the suggestions for this Google garbage better.

Transmit
I was contemplating purchasing this earlier this week but with all these updates I don't have any confidence in this tool at all.
I am going to check on the alternatives and give this one wide pass.

I think the developer may want to find another site to host the download from to avoid this in the future.
