This will not install on a case sensitive volume. I therefore cannot install it on my boot drive unless I reformat it, which I am not willing to do. This is the only program that has ever given me this problem. Completely lame and sloppy programming. I paid for this program and now I cannot use it.

Very bad program. The mail database is limited to 2 GB. When you exceed this limit the program crashes and will not relaunch. All your mail is lost. The developer says it would be too much work to fix this problem. To compete against the competition, they need to rewrite the software to meet modern standards and expectations.

The software works well. However the registration process does not work correctly. I paid for the software, but it only let me use it once and then went back into trial mode. The developer has not yet responded to my complaint. Based on other comments on MacUpdate, the developer has been aware of this issue for some time, but has not addressed it. Tis is unacceptable.

This program installed a preference pane that started monitoring my system supposedly for real time problems. I attempted to turn off the monitoring, but I am not sure that it worked. What I do know is that for the past few months, my Mac became very sluggish and I could not figure out what was wrong. I finally tried installing TechTool Pro 5.07 and it solved my problem. My Mac immediately became much more responsive. This software is worse than useless. Instead of protecting your system, it makes it very slow and difficult to use.

I meant to say uninstalling. My system stopped being sluggish when I uninstalled TechTool Pro.

Excellent fast search capabilities with document previews. It does much more than spotlight. It is faster (almost instantaneous) and highlights the hits inside the document preview. Could use better documentation. You need to explore its features to see what it can do. I use DevonThing to organize documents, Tinderbox to organize notes, and Firefox to search my hard drive. The three together are an excellent combination.

This is an excellent piece of software. I have been looking for something that will allow me to open Outlook .msg files and access the attachments embedded in them.
