I've been using iStat for about a year and this is a great update. I particularly like the addition of the mouse battery usage icon. Saves me from opening System Preferences periodically to check it. Also, I'm not seeing the CPU usage problem Bambam has posted about. There's no detectible CPU usage by this widget on my machine. Rick
I downloaded and installed this update from Software Update and, after doing a checkout of all my systems and software, haven't seen or had any problems. Can't say that there is any noticeable change, good or bad. At least it seems to be safe.
Got it installed but it would not run (iMac intel 2 core duo alu 24" 2gb RAM 2.8GHz). Just a little blue cube with a question mark sitting there. So I tossed it. Oh well.
I've been using this application for a couple of years now and can't be without it. It works flawlessly just as described by the developer. I'm a real back-up freak so I like to save files to cd or dvd-rw as soon as I receive or create them just like I used to do with Zip disks in the old days. Well worth the small price.
