I only bought this so I could un install Civilisation 4 on this and use it maybe on a g5 PPC. I have no interest in installing this if I have to do it via steam.
The direct download link only leads to the developer shop which requires a purchase to download.
When try the serial no. for Civilisation 4 in the G5 it rejects it. What am I doing wrong?
I needed to scan some old family photos and I had a couple of old Canon N650Us. I used the Canon drivers a few years ago in 10.5 and it was a confusing convoluted process that involved Photoshop.
This was just so easy. It saw the first Canon I connected and it worked straight away. I assume this was just a entry level scanner when sold, but the results are perfect. I used to do this for my job briefly in the 70's using a Linhof 5 x7 trolly stand camera using 4 x5 sheet film and on say a standard pro 50's Leica shot postcard or 5 x7, these results i did at 600 x 600 are as good or better.
I'm using Lion 10.7.2. I did 50 last scans last night and I've hundreds more to go, but I'm no longer stressing out about having to get it done. Thank you very much.
I'm trying to get Wikipedia onto a PowerPC Mac running 10.5.8. for somebody without web access.
It's a shame that this program doesn't support PPC because there is a definite correlation between people with older computers and lack of internet access. I can get it on my intel mac and ipad, but not PPC?
I've bit torrenting the Wikimedia XML package, scraping the site , but still no luck. It is a shame that poorer people get left out of the picture again and disappointing that wikipedia hasn't made more efforts to cater for people withoiut internet.
I think I must have forgotten to rate the app and it has been given a default 3 stars or maybe I was just in a bad mood for the lack of PowerPC support. It is a brilliant partner for iBooks.
THIS IS A FIVE STAR APP. in both its iOS and OS X versions.
