EVERY time I install new drivers I MUST RESET printing system, because of "not properly installed" Epson printer! I have more than one printer and I'm sick of this! I must agree with other commentators saying "don't fix if it's not broken".
So, if your Epson is working properly, spare some time and DON'T download these drivers!
I was using this for log time, because USB Overdrive seems dead, but now Overdrive is better than ever and SteerMouse still must launch external app instead of using prefpane. Shame. Overdrive is rock solid and can do a lot more than just mouse handling, so I think I'll say "goodbye SteerMouse!" ...for good.
I was using SteerMouse for almost three years and it's good, but like I said, Overdrive is much more than a mouse driver and being PrefPane is only "one more thing". It's more Mac-way for me. How comes that Overdrive can, Microsoft driver can and I remember that even chinese A4-tech can do PrefPane to set options for mouse, but SteerMouse can't do it for so many years?
After update to newest version (1.0.4) my Xbox doesn't even see Mac with Playback running! Previous version (1.0.3) was able to show me all the photos, but have problem with any music and movie. I wrote to support but get no answer!
On the other hand both Rivet and Connect360 works flawlessly on my network. I prefer River because of event handling and was hoping to get even better experience with Playback... Right now, I'm disappointed. :-(
My mail was send exactly two weeks ago (August 4th, 2009 at 20:03:44 GMT+02), to e-mail address mentioned above. Here's full copy of it:
I just bought Playback and can't get it to work. I can see movies from iPhoto and all the photos I wanted to share, but can't see movies from iTunes - Xbox 360 displays "no movies" (I CAN see iPhoto movies, but that's all). Another issue: every music track I tried (AAC, without protection) is "no supported". The same music and videos are played without any problems on my Xbox 360 using Rivet.
I have newest version of OS X (10.5.7) and Playback (1.0.3) on my white MacBook C2D.
Wow! That was quick! Now, after trashing everything and reinstalling Playback works flawlessly. Thanks for help!
BTW. It's really fast! ...and I love the way Playback handles photos - it's much nicer than Rivet's way, but you must work on movies sharing. Rivet makes entire hierarchy available, so I can quickly find newest episode of TV show or short clip in iPhoto album. When Playback will handle movies like Rivet does it'll be number one for me! :-)
New version is much better. I was able to install all that I want from Cydia, especially StatusNotifier and LockCalendar, which are must-have in my opinion. ;-)
I must update my opinion. After all, today InstallerApp was able to download and install what it needs to support Cydia. Now my attempts to use it wasn''t that bad. I was able to install and use SwirlyMMS and Clippy, but no luck with some others for now.
For the current version I've five words: DO NOT PAY FOR THIS!
It looks like real nice app and promises few very tempting features, but reality is different.
I've done clean update to newest firmware (2.2 -> 2.2.1) via iTunes hoping that this allow me to put few Cydia apps without jailbreak. Unfortunately it didn't. Of course 10.5.6 is kinda problem with DFU, but doing little magic helped and Pusher was able to push Installer to not-jailbroken iPhone. So far so good. Next was Cydia support, but InstallerApp attempts to download its very own DPKG support failed. I tried it about dozen times and nothing. Since Cydia apps are only unofficial apps I care, I've got to jailbreak iPhone on my own - using QuickPWN to install Cydia at once.
Now I have jailbroken iPhone with Cydia and - thanks to InstallerApp - Installer also. Despite of this, App still says it must download own DPKG support and fails of course. Also, it can't see few packages I downloaded using Cydia Installer on iPhone. For current version it's nice interface for not-working-as-suppose CRAP. :-(
If you need free solution with images support try Butler. It's much more than pasteboards, but I'm using it mainly to clipboard buffering. It works well and it's also free. :-)
49 bucks?! For what?

My Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer for Bluetooth is working only partially with this. I can't get horizontal scrolling to work and I can't use keystrokes with only modifiers (ex. shift, alt). I used to have cmd under my thumb and IntelliPoint for Mac doesn't allow me to set this (I CAN do this under Windows - not 'cmd' of course, but setting for example 'shift' under 4th button works great ).
Anybody have solution for this? System 10.4.10, IntelliPoint in newest version (6.21), but I've tried 6.2 as well.

No single update for 3 months! No support for iPhone 3.0! I've paid for few months of fun? Shame.
