Won't show the table's contents ...

Having worked in the IT with C++ and PHP, I'm currently using 4D for almost one year now. I choose 4D because I needed something to develop a back office application on Mac OS X and this software seemed to be a nice solution do rapidly what I needed to do.

Now, having a good expertise with 4D I think I can made an educated comment about it : this is the worst piece of software I've seen. Ever. I'm sorry to tell that, but I'm sincere.

Working with 4D bring you back 20 years in the past.

I believe that if you have absolutely no experience in programming and if you start with 4D you would perhaps tell : "wow, I can do amazing stuff with 4D!". Yeah, if you never saw a car and if someone gives you a good ole East German "Traban", the people's car, you will find it an amazing experience wile learning to drive on it.

If later you try a modern, high standard BMW car, you will probably wonder how one can even drive that piece c*** named "Traban".

With 4D it's the same :-)

A software version of the Traban ...

Great software, unfortunatelye due to a bug, you won't be able to post in languages witch uses letters with accents.

Indeed, all messages are posted in Unicode UTF8, and you cannot change that. So in many Web newsreaders, the messages with accents won't be readable ...
