The advertisement above says, "store any type of data", but I discovered the following notes in the manual after I bought the product. :(
Note: Adding notes is not available for iOS 4 devices.
Note: The edit feature is not available for iOS 4 devices.
Note: The delete feature is not available for iOS 4 devices.
I try to convert my purchased DVD to a format for my iPad and I get:
"15 files are in an unsupported format and cannot be imported."
So, I figure, I'll make a copy so I can mount it and play it on my macbook air while I travel. But, I get:
"The DVD you are trying to copy is encrypted. DVD decryption software is not included in this software. Roxio does not provide technical support for decryption software distributed on the Internet or in any other way."
When I compare these messages to the advertising blurb above about copying my movies and DVDS, I feel cheated.
When you try to download this app, you get an error message in German which, when translated, explains to you that the link no longer functions error free. You can click on the http://myownapp.com/, though and search the site and discover that myLicenses is nowhere to be found.
You can find a "free" version of myapps, which performs a similar function, but it only works for 7 registrations. When you type in the 8th registration, it tells you in the nicest sort of way to buy the real myapps program or live with 7 registrations.
I got annoyed and decided to avoid products from mownapp.com for a while.
