My first introduction to Speed Download was from the MacHeist event last year. As with past bundles, I hurry to download and backup, copy to the Applications folder and enter the license. Shortly thereafter, I noticed this big red box pop-up and the downloads were taking half the time or less! I couldn't remember the name just yet, but I knew I liked it and that it made my life a little bit happier! As the Macheist snafu came and went, I was able to buy 2 more licenses for $15 for my powerbook and a soon to be acquired new iMac. With business slowing down, the new iMac just became a reality, but I was still able to retrieve the additional license (they were sold a bit differently at the time and Kagi wasn't as helpful as you would expect) and Johnny was instrumental in helping me get it up and running happily with the rest of my home/office network!
