Thunderbird

I anxiously awaited Thunderbird 3. The tabbed interface and new features seemed attractive. But, then I tried it over the course of a few weeks. Overall, I'm very disappointed in the interface. For example, what's with the new reply, forward, etc buttons in the message pane? If I prefer to use the toolbar (and add the buttons I want there) then I can't even turn them off in the message pane.

And, the deal breaker is as follows: I configured TB 3.0.2 with 4 email accounts and, respectively, 4 SMTP servers. BUT, when I send or reply to a message it always uses the SAME SMTP server ASSOCIATED with a SINGLE Reply-To address.

What does this mean? Every email I send appears to comes from ONE of my email accounts. If you send me a mail at: guyfuntime.com and I reply then the reply comes from another email address... maybe guymywork.com. This, in a word, is BAD.

I tried reconfiguring the email accounts and all available and related server settings to no avail. I'm back to using Apple Mail and Mail Steward for archiving. After cleaning up the Mail database I'm much happier with Mail. Now, I tentatively await the release of MS Outlook for Mac..... No, wait, I'm sticking with Mail.
