I find it interesting that no one has questioned why Apple would make this available in the App Store. If it is as totally useless as most seem to believe, that leads me to wonder why Apple continues to allow it to be sold. Could they need the .99¢ that badly? Or do they really not care?

maybe some of the confusion over the version numbers is due to the fact that there was a beta labeled 1.0.4 many moons ago. I had a copy which JoeSoft sent me a link to.

I really enjoy this personally and purchased it long ago. Set up properly is certainly not anti=productive, just the opposite.

is there some way to get Total Finder and CCI to play nice with each other?

I have been a Mac user since 1985. I used to believe the Mac community consisted of people that were brighter, more logical and reasoned in their thinking. Based on some of the diatribes on this site and many others, this seems to no longer be the case. It makes me sad.

p.s. Firefox works fine for me, as do many other browsers. The so-called browser wars seem to accomplish nothing other than bringing "idiots" out of the woodwork.

I've used this before with no problems. however, the 10.0-beta 1 runs slow as molasses on my duo core iMac. I have 3gb of ram.

It seems CCI and GlimmerBlocker do not play nice with each other either. You have to disable CCI for System Preferences to allow GlimmerBlocker to run, change settings, save filters, etc.

GlimmerBlocker does not seem to work well with CCI. You need to disable CCI for System Preferences entirely.

I think I know what happened. First, I had to erase the previous versions cache and prefs before I could even get WJ to run. Then, once it was running I couldn't just type into your prefs dialog. I had to hold the up and down arrows in order to change how many pics I could view. I also had to quit and relaunch every time I changed a setting in order to see the effect.

I run Isolator and it seems there was some conflict. Even after I uninstalled WJ Isolator would no longer run until I reinstalled it.

Thanks, I actually did manage to get the wallpapers I thought I would like from the 2010 you have. I do like the program. I do tend to like certain types of wallpapers, which of the many you have, I liked a select few.
