I've used iBank for several months now and find it an almost excellent financial application. Organization of accounts is great, but reconciling to my monthly bank statement still confuses me. I've gotten to the point where I just check-em off and hope for the best. Why can't they make reconciling simple, as in Quicken?
I've been using Runtime Revolution for a year now and am tremendously impressed with the quality of this product, especially version 3.0, which includes substantial improvements to the script editor. Admittedly, I get frustrated once in awhile, but it always turns out to have been my own fault. You'll need to spend a day or so getting used to its structure and idiosyncrasies, but after that its flexibility and ease of use is phenomenal, and its speed is unbelievable. The company is very responsive to bug reports. Highly recommended!
I thought this was a file transfer application where I could upload a file and another person could download it. Nowhere does it say it's only for iTunes. Tell me if I'm wrong at paulgabel@comcast.net. "All sales final" is written on their website in black letters on a black background!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DOWNLOADED SUPEREXAM 2.0 b1 ON DECEMBER 31, 2007, MACUPDATE GRABBED THIS VERSION FROM MY WEBSITE BEFORE IT WAS READY FOR GENERAL DISTRIBUTION. IT WILL NOT WORK. PLEASE WAIT A FEW DAYS UNTIL I PUT A WORKING COPY OF SUPEREXAM ON MACUPDATE. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
I think some of the complaints I've just read are due to 1) not realizing the Spotlight is reindexing your hard disk, thus slowing down operations temporarily, and 2) opening your OLD Safari which is still in the dock and not the new v. 3.0.4 in the Applications folder.
If any downloaders would prefer a smaller file size, I can arrange for a zipped copy that comes in at 5.2 MB (without the 100 sample questions included). Email me at paulgabel@comcast.net.
For those of you who wanted to run a trial of the exam-MAKING feature, the temporary password is "Superteacher" (no quotes). In upcoming version 1.0.2, the exam writer will be able to reset or change this password.
