Watchtower Library for Mac

I have downloaded latest version of Lion OS X and after that I tried to use the watchtower library and its giving me garbled letters n numbers. Then they asked me to launch applications>Utilities>Terminal and enter and nothing happens and its still giving me problems. Is there a quick fix for these problems on my system? Has the library version 2.0 watchtower been made available? Would like your response.
