A software I was looking for a long time (still on tiger). I was tired of VLC, I don't want Perian "finder crasher" anymore, I found MPlayer unstable and heavy, so Movist is The one. He is faster than QT with wmv. The ability to choose between ffmpeg or quicktime is simply great. There is a lot of features not found in others players.
Movist should be more under spotlights.

What about just downloading the video that is streamed, without converting it after.
Videobox should act this way and then ask if user want to convert. less is more

After using TextExpander during 2 years (with OS 10.4.11), after seeing stranges behavior, after loosing sometimes my snippets just by dragging, after create and recreate several time the same snippets, after trying all my best to organise myself & folders into a tiny preference pane window, after waiting and hoping none coming bug fixed updates: I'm proud to use TYPINATOR now.
Yes, the smile is on my face!

I like this application and use it a lot,

I would suggest some features:
browse author's videos
deleting bad keywords or history
Access informations at any time
Scroll in the video?
shortcut to put the next video to watch, or something to create a playlist…

The only con is the quicktime cache folder.
Use Minitube 1 hour and you get a >700MB large QT cache folder ;(

Yesterday, the requirement was Mac OS X 10.1.
Today, versions & requirement changed, and it just works for tiger.

bkBrowser

Pat320 had trouble on 22 Dec 2009

I've try bkBrowser this morning, and it simply doesn't work. (I'm running tiger)
I dragged many urls to the dropbox (after creating folder) and I have each time the same message:
bkBrowser cannot create a bookmark because there is no no webpage picture attached to it.

Am I missing something?

yes, I've read it.

Now, access a webpage you want to bookmark with your web browser. Click in the URL box and drag the fav icon or the entire URL text towards bkBrowser.

And finally drop this URL text onto bkBrowser's drop box.

By your doing so, the Mouse pointer will transform itself into a camera icon, which will lets you select any of the open windows, not just that of a web browser.
No camera to select window

Now, click on the web browser once. And wait for bkBrowser to spring up a small window. This window should show you the exact URL from your web browser with a resized snapshot of the current web page aside.
Nothing like this on my screen

Ok, click on the "Uninstall" button in Screenflick's Audio view before uninstall Screenflick from the computer.
