$50 for a piece of software. That is *NOT* expensive people!
You guys rant and rant and say "it's never good enough", but do you at all know how long it takes to develop software, and how cumbersome it is ?
People that don't want to pay for software is the reason I don't want to make my best software available to the public.
When people start paying for the small stuff, I might release something a little bigger.
What am I talking about ?
I'm talking about an application, which had more than 200000 downloads in less than a single month, a ton of positive feedback.
What did people pay ?
IN TOTAL: 6 times $20 - for 2 YEARS of development.
-So I'd suggest that if you want software, you open the wallet and close your mouth.
(I'm not the developer of this software, and if you can afford Final Cut Pro, you can afford paying $50; if you can't afford Final Cut Pro, why would you need this software anyway?)
Fine game, well written.
Bought it years ago.
One thing I don't understand is why the 1.1.1 update was necessary.
I had no problems with registration, pilot files were saved automatically anyway.
But I'm still using Mac OS 10.4 on my PowerBook (10.5 on my G5), so I'm not updating this time.
Excellent implementation of this nice old game.
My brother and I played it for a whole night (yes, around 8 hours), I know it's crazy, but we just couldn't stop. ;)
To those of you, who voted down that I'd think about a way for making it possible to see fancyboxes that do not pop up automatically, I have good news: I've decided not to allow No FancyBox show any fancyboxes. If you want to see the target image (or whatever is in it), you can right-click and choose "Open in New Window" or "Open in New Tab". :)
Works very well for me (PowerMac G5/DualCore2.5GHz; eg. a broken QuadCore).
No chopping video; plays smoothly even while loading.
I don't know which is best; FlashToHTML5 or YouTube5, but they both seem to work for me with YouTube.
Using a DualCore PowerMac G5/2.5GHz (a machine which you can't buy), I had chopping YouTube videos.
Now they play smoothly, even while they're loading!!
I've been looking for at least 5 years for a good quick mail client, and had to drag around with PowerMail (because Mail.app was too sluggish and couldn't handle 100000+ mails, and couldn't handle mail aliases). PowerMail handles aliases just fine, but there's no find-in-this-email feature; besides, it has its flaws.
Yesterday I discovered GiazMail, and I've been mean to it all morning (for 8 hours now), and it seems rock solid and quite quick.
The developers definitely did a very, very good job. It's much more usable than Mail.app!!
Just an update: GyazMail works very well with secure connections. I've set up qmail with TLS and AUTH, and GyazMail works flawlessly.
I wish I could put better words on how much I like this new mail client. To anyone reading this: I recommend trying it out, and you're probably sold immediately!
I just tried setting up an IMAP server (using Dovecot), and it works as well.
Definitely the best PCB layout program for the Mac.
Ferget about Eagle, it's a completely non-intuitive program that should never have made it to Mac.
-But Osmond works quite well. If you have trouble finding out how to make your first PCB, please follow the tutorials; after you've done so, you'll find Osmond PCB quite easy! :)
Definitely recommended.
I couldn't resist buying it, although I haven't gone past the limits yet. ;)
I simply *HATE* that searching forwards searches backwards and searching backwards searches forwards.
How'd you feel if your car turned left, when you turned the steering-wheel clockwise ??
Also, I'd like it possible to disable the 'wrapped around' image that flashes in the window, when reaching the end of the searches.
...Sorry I might sounding negative...
My nummeric pad does *NOT* have any arrows on it, so please do not change its behaviour. I reconfigured it the cumbersome way. Pressing num-0 results in send text '0', pressing num-1 results in send text '1', etc, etc, etc... 17 times total. Feature is good, but incorrect defaults.
Another thing, when typing 'ls -l' and then pressing backspace a few times, a number of extraneous characters suddenly appear in the terminal window.
(I'm only using iTerm, because currently my Terminal.app is frozen and I cannot quit it. I dare not risk restarting my Quadcore G5, because only two of the cores are running, and if I restart it, I do not know if it will come back up running).
I better try and make a duplicate of Terminal.app...
Ehm.
Where do I find the config file ???
-SuperTuxKart starts, plays the music, but never ends loading, so I cannot go to 'Tools : Delete Config'; AND the ReadMe file does *not* say anything about deleting the config file.
