Unless you are using more than Windows and OS X on an Intel Mac, I don't really see the value of this software. AFAIK, you cannot set a firmware password on an Intel Mac since it uses EFI as opposed to the Open Firmware of previous G-series Macs. Just press the Option key on startup and you will be presented with icons for booting into either OS X or Windows XP, even multiple versions on different partitions/disks if available, using no additional boot-picker software (such as this).
Installed it and.. wait. I can't find my car anymore. It must have eaten it. And.. wait... my adult video collection has been edited down to soft porn... oh. never mind. It installed without a hitch on my 20" Core Duo iMac. :)
Why on Earth are you criticizing Blender just because you don't know what the installer for Yafray (a different, separate piece of software) has placed on your system? If you are so paranoid about what Yafray (not Blender) has installed on your system, and cannot even figure out how to email the Yafray team without removing the "NO SPAM" portion of their addresses, then perhaps you should not have bothered to download Blender.
All this does is simplify the process of taking your protected AAC files from iTunes, burn then to CD, and then re-rip them into MP3 format. If you want AAC files, just burn your songs to CD and re-rip them as AAC.
