Early experience is quite good. As soon as I installed it, it updates the library, there was 511 Standard frames and 418 Pro frames at this review written. I'll update again after using it a while
I read the reviews and the features. This seems to be a Huawei Dashboard + Internet Sharing combined into one. I do have one problem with Huawei Dashboard, it uses 20-30% CPU just by running the application.
Does anyone has this issue with the app? Also if one has a huawei dashboard + using internet sharing to share the 3G connection, do you still need this app?
Considering to purchase it, but would like to get advises from existing users.
CCC has not been stable and usable for block-level copy since 3.3.4 - 3.3.7 in SL. Block Level copy always fails at verification. I was told problems with my cable, docks or HDD, yet after countless or retries with different interfaces, scanning HDD surfaces, and etc - there is no error. I came into potential conclusion that it is either CCC or the software component it is using e.g. ASR is buggy.
It used to be a good product until now which only usable for file-level copy.
I finally bought a family license to support the developer and shows my appreciation. This, however, does not mean I agree with the pricing. It is overpriced for what it does and considering available options in the market (its older version and others).
I am too puzzled by the 'copy and paste' support pages of both products. I am still deciding which one to get. Price wise, it should be VPN+ but quality and perception of the software goes to iVPN. Both do not offer trial which is bad.
I simply can't believe this situation of similar apps. Now I need to write both of them and justify which one deserves my business.
This is not what I meant. I mean version 3 will be out soon, so should i wait until v3 out or should I buy 2.5 now and i'll get the v3 for free?
Usually, when a new major version will be out, consumer can buy the current version and protected for the new version (major) released without upgrade fees. Upgrade fees applies to those who had licenses for sometime back.
I heard good story about this application and the one that I knew before - iPod Access. Does anyone knows what are the different between this two if any? I just want to use one instead of both...
I do get some 'Honesty' dialog box after entering legitimate license that I have. The Dev tried to solve it but to no avail. No big issues though, just slight annoyed.
