This app, I find to be pretty darn good. It's great for getting those movies onto your iphone, Ipod, or in my case ipad, Quality is good....give you waaay too many options. LOL... I didn't see however, a simple compressor feature for a dvd movie to watch on a dvd player. This app does so much that I'm sure there a way to do it, I just don't know how. I wish they had a simple setting for "Single layer dvd". Great app though, even still.

This app has been my go to app for compressing for a while now. It works well, but it's fairly expensive isn't it?

This is by far the best DVD ripping software I have used. I was a big fan of Mac the ripper, but i haven't used it in almost a year, thanks to this little guy. I haven't tried the compression feature yet. But I will maybe someday. Thumbs Up! Hmmm. I wonder if it'll work on xbox 360 games?

Ok. I tried the compression feature. Works well but takes a long time. I prefer to not use the compression feature and compress the dvd using Handbrake or Dvd2onex2 while ripping another movie with ripit at the same time. That way I can do 2 things at once.

This is a great program, works well. But it cost $32. $32!?..... A 1/8 male to male cable cost $3... you plug it into your headphone jack, plug the other end into your mic-in jack and press record in Garage band and record as well as edit any audio you want to record.
