Dropbox

It's great... fast and reliable... google drive beats it's price and capacity... but it's just not quite as good...

Adobe Creative Suite

Does anyone else think that the new CS6 graphics, icons and splash screen design is the ugliest ever? The garish colors!? The dumb splash screen graphics!? What were they thinking? Were Adobe's art directors and designers on crack and acid at the same time?

How long has the bug in this update been unresolved? And here it is still available for download despite the fact that it's garbage? Absolutely unbelievable.

Blu-ray Player

Ocd reviewed on 24 Feb 2012
total rubbish... it wouldn't play half the Blu-Ray disks I tested... but VLC played them all... ha! the author has some balls to charge $60 for this badly designed. mediocre and buggy trash. shame on you...
If you want BD playback on a Mac, Get VLC - it plays everything, it's free.

Apple Xcode
Ocd commented on 17 Feb 2012
Have the people at Apple's Xcode group all had lobotomies??
Why didn't they package all the developer tools and utilities with the update to v4.3 ?? Instead, you now have to use the the ever-so lame App Store to update Xcode, and then you have to go to the developer site, login and individually download and install all the updated tools and utilities. What were they thinking?? Where's the logic here? Argh!

Ok - that was an unnecessary rant, sorry... i take it back (yea, i know , it's all ready out there)
The updated app is actually great... more integrated, faster, uses less memory and it's more stable (for me at least) and it co-exists with 4.2 - thanks Apple.

BusyCal

it's a very nice app and a good alternative to ical (which is terrible in Lion) though, i think at $50 it's way too expensive... but that's just me...

Carbon Copy Cloner
Ocd commented on 01 Oct 2011
What has happened to this software?... I haven't updated it for quite a while and the new version is very different - so cryptic and complicated! it used to be simple... clone the drive and that's it... now theres all this archive stuff and wether to delete or not to delete, yada yada... I cant figure out what to set things to... and the presets don't don't do what i expect... and the help material is overly complicated.... ugh.
There should be some settings for simpletons like me... or maybe a basic and advanced mode... whatever... I'm going back to using vers. 3 - it works and its easy...
[Version 3.4.3]
