As of today there is now no link to the devs website from MU - you can find the website over at cnet, but every download link has now been disabled.
No wonder the dev has gone when trolls here call hard working developers bastards. Macupdate is going to the dogs allowing comments such as that given by Grhsvo to stand.
Why can't these people stick to the porn sites where they usually hang out?
Why oh why flame a dev here on MU when it is more constructive to contact him one to one and point out any issues you find?
Why oh why have I not found this app before? I'm using a G5 dual processor with 10.5.8, just downloaded this (works seamlessly on this platform) and within the first five minutes it has doubled my output.
If there was a donate button anywhere I'd gladly press it, this little app is that good. Thanks to the developers for a lovely bit of kit that ups your production immediately.
How about this then?
I've been submitting reviews on MU for over three years, and this review was my first ever low star (with the exceptions of software that is no longer available that I warn about when I find them.)
Never once had a 'down smile' from anyone.
I post this and hey presto! 9 'downs' all at once, effectively dismantling my 'credibility as a reviewer' giving me a -1 review grade, and making me out to be some sort of technogrinch.
Were I a conspiracy nut, I'd be paranoid enough to think that I'd been the victim of a fragging here because I'd upset someone.
But I'm not.
The comment from someone about the date and developers not responding over the weekend was valid, but it was my fault for not making it clear that it was three working days without an answer, not three days per se.
Another Dead link everyone - a shame so many developers are giving up lately. Perhaps if more devs put a donate button on their site, or we were more enthusiastic about their work, they might stick around more.
This app is dead in the water. Looks like the dotcom name has been bought by an internet marketer - clicking the devs link takes you to a pre sell page.
Sorry - I omitted to mention Dejals other product that complements this perfectly - Blogassist.
Windows based internet marketers are paying nearly $50 for something not nearly as effective.
And no, I'm not married to anyone at Dejal - I'm just a happy buyer.
Two days ago I started to work my way through all the note taking apps on MU, to find the right one for me.
Unfortunately it's become a road trip from one derelict site to another, where the developer has closed his doors and gone.
This is another set of dead links.
I'm on a mission to evaluate all PIM and Todo software, and I soooo want to look at Chandler, but it's proving impossible. Me? 1.42 g4 eMacs 1gb ram and 1.67 g4 powerbook, 1.5gb ram both 10.4.11.
On both machines I can get to Chandler startup, but immediately I try to use any of the functionality, Chandler grabs all my memory resources and it's hello to the beachball until I quit the app from within activity monitor - which shows 'python not responding' whilst using 95.6 of my cpu power. I've info'd the devs, and I'll keep trying and report back here. Maybe Chandler works well under Leopard?

Calendar X
The link is now severed and the developers site has been taken down from the server.

And Devonthink, you have yet to get back to me.
If this is where MU is going, I think I'm out.
