Remind Me Later

Normbzr reviewed on 29 Apr 2011
The syntax seems hard to follow - the concept is great, but I find it difficult to apply consistently - giving erroneous date entries.

So far I have found just two syntactical forms that always work as intended. It would help if the developer listed the formats to be used and the expected outcomes.

I very much like the whole idea - just needs some refinement maybe and documentation. Look forward to further development.

also - I note the app is free for the moment - thank you. I may purchase in the future, but NOT from the Apple Store

dupeGuru

Normbzr reviewed on 27 Sep 2010
I like this program. It is very easy to use, it has a very straightforward user interface, and it does the job easily and safely. When I first came across dupeGure I wasn't actually looking for something like it, but I knew I had a problem with heaps of duplicate files . . . what to do ?? They were taking up such a lot of room. An untidy mess even.

I also knew about other software packages out there that seemed to do much the same thing, but I was never inspired to try them out even after giving them a cursory look over. Yet for some reason I decided to give a dupeGuru a trial. Well. the sky didn't fall on my head, and my confidence grew. I like being able to just focus on a single folder at a time, or a single drive, and to be able to sort on file size to maximise my investment in time on the one hand and to break the task up into manageable bite sizes, as the mood strikes. I don't have to deal with the whole task all in one go - just a bit at a time, when I have some time.

And the price is very reasonable.
