There's a search field in the toolbar of the main window. By default it searches anywhere, but you can click the search field popup to limit the search to only ingredients, or only source, etc.
You must be talking about Yum :-) because shopping list, and other database-type features have been on the to-do list for Yum for some time. Hopefully before the end of this year, but hey, it's free software so in my own time.
By the way, does anybody know how to get the administrators of this web site to change the product name from "Yum!" to "Yum", as I've tried to get them to do several times?
If you're having any problems upgrading from an older version, please try saving your file with version 0.5.10 before running it in 0.6.x. (0.6 dropped support for some older versions; 0.5.10 reads all versions back to 0.1).
