Warning for Safari 5.1 users:

1Password depends on a new beta extension for Safari that either does not work, or is problematic for many users.

Here's the user forum posts: http://forum.agile.ws/index.php?/topic/5656-safari-51-troubleshooting-and-information/

WebStart
Msl commented on 07 Mar 2011
Months ago, I asked the developer of MAMP if support for FastCGI could be added. Never got a response and it was never added.

I just made the very same request to the developer of WebStart, and he responded right away by saying that FastCGI would be added tomorrow (March 8, 2011) in version 1.0.4 !!!

MailSteward

Buyer BEWARE that this developer rips off customers by charging for what were supposed to be free upgrades!

You can even listen to the developer himself (set to music no less) lying about his upgrade policy here:

http://s3.amazonaws.com/mypodpromo/mspromo.mp3

"My policy has been that all registered users get free upgrades"

Yeah right.

MailSteward

Although MailSteward is a fine product, it is unfortunate that the developer has chosen to deceive customers by continuing to state on his website that "Upgrades to new versions are free for all registered users of MailSteward" when nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, registered users of previous versions are required to pay $20 to upgrade to version 8.0 (which in my opinion is nothing more than a maintenance release). Further, the confirmation email I received when I purchased MailSteward in Nov 2006 stated:

"This email is to confirm the receipt of your recent order. If you ordered the full version of MailSteward, you are entitled to free upgrades. Save the order number in the subject of this email. By going to www.mailsteward.com/registered.html, and entering your first & last names & the order number, you can always download the latest version."

Yeah right.
