$80 US for this apparently amateurish attempt at a commercial application? Piffle.
The interface is confusing to the point of being unusable. Pressing the Download button elicits a message indicating that data was downloaded but, "of course," won't be able to be displayed. Why?
I'd skip this application if it only cost $4.99 US...it is certainly not worth $80 US.
I rely on this program exclusively to convert DVD content to movie files for viewing via Apple TV.
For a long time I used the included FreeMount software, but after coming into possession of iRip via a promo package, I now use iRip to image DVDs and then use DVD Remaster Pro to do the actual conversion.
One think I like but was not aware of until recently is the ability to specify the actual filename for the output file, and to include other information such as the year of the movie, the genre, and "comments" which, when imported into iTunes, show up on the TV screen in the Apple TV Movies menu.
Definitely worth owning this application!
