iToner
moki commented on 18 Oct 2007
OS2Guy,

iToner does not "jailbreak" your iPhone, nor does it put any code on your iPhone. It simply puts ringtones in the user area of your phone, using the exact same APIs and method that iTunes uses.

There is no way that iToner can "brick" or otherwise damage your iPhone. If you have problems, and need help, please feel free to contact us at:

WireTap Studio
moki commented on 13 Oct 2007
Leo,

I'm sorry you feel the product is over-priced; we've actually had comments from a number of people that we under-priced the product.

I was merely pointing out to you that your dismissal of the product without every having used it (I noted you did not download it) is a bit unfair.

WireTap Studio offers features that the *combination* of Audio Hijack Pro and Fission do not offer, such as live preview, lossless master recordings, non-destructive lossless editing, and many others. We think this makes the product well worth it.

All I am suggesting to you is that you download and try the product before making such judgments.

Actually, there is documentation in Dragster. Choose "Dragster Help" from the HELP menu in Dragster... and you should be good to go!

WireTap Anywhere
Moki commented on 09 Jul 2003
Mark -- glad you like WireTap. You can do timed recording with WireTap using the included AppleScripts.

It is true that WireTap doesn't include support for sound-altering plugins, but we didn't think most people wanted such a thing; they merely wanted to capture the audio that was playing.

The .mp3 encoding issue was explained in the online help; mp3 encoding is not free, and the minimum possible license is $15,000 a year, which obviously makes little sense for a free product. :)

We might enhance WireTap further, adding such things as .mp3/AAC encoding, etc., but we'd have to charge for it.
