Such a good app. Havent found anything similar aside from photoshopping a wallpaper into two images (pain in the ass). Shame its no longer available :'(
Actually one of the most useful apps! Runs perfectly on macpro 10.6.8. Was horrified when switching from windows to mac to find a lack of contextual menues - but finder pop fixed me right up!
Works great on macpro 10.6.8! Essential for a multi-monitor display. When going fullscreen the bar stays on top, which sometimes means clicking the hide button, but other than that fantastic free app!!
Holy... crap... this app is amazing!! When I was looking for a program to batch rename a few thousand files I thought to myself "lets face it, the program your are looking for isn't out there..."
but then I found this! My only criticism is that its annoying to say the name in conversation "Now just boot up a better finder rename and load the..." :p
Cant really add anything more to what has already been said in previous reviews. The builds never crash, developer replys to emails very quickly. The application for Rumpus is (as stated below) only limited by you! There is nothing else like Rumpus that offers such control and monitoring of a FTP server. This is a product that could be deployed any sized business and is well worth the money!
Perfect program, does what it says! Only issue which has been noted below is that you cant edit the system crontabs, only user tabs. But for our purposes, this is not a problem.
We use Google Apps for our business and we use CloudPull to make sure that if we were to loose our internet connection, we still have local copies of vital documents.
The main feature of CloudPull that puts it above the rest (for us) is that it keeps revisions and it keeps everything in Office format (.doc .xls etc) so we can access and edit the programs instantly.
Great program with some advanced features! We use goodsync specifically because it can connect with Amazon S3 shares which as far as I know, none of the other leading backup products on Mac can do.
We work at a Post Production house and needed something that could backup our project files offsite. We have filters set to only backup certain file types, and back them directly to a S3 account.
The only problem/bug so far is that when closing the preferences window (for a selected backup job) the email notification settings are lost. This is definitely a big issue, as most people who would need the features of GoodSync, will also want email notifications on success and failures. However we have still purchased the program as its benefits outweigh this one bug (which im sure will be fixed soon)
(Running on 10.7.1)
(I also use this personally on my PC and it works flawlessly)
When closing the preferences window (for a selected backup job) the email notification settings are lost... Have tested this on two different computers one running 10.6 the other 10.7. Thus far the support team haven't been very helpful and this has been going on for over 1 month now.
Basically, you cant get email notifications after jobs complete AT ALL.

OS X generates these hidden files for thumbnails, folder colours etc and while they are hidden in OSX, they are visible on a windows machine.
This utility is designed to remove these files so the drive is clean for a windows machine.
If you dont use your usb stick on a windows machine, then you dont need this app.
I dont understand why people download software "just to see what it does" and then write reviews not even understanding the programs purpose....
