Doesn't Snow Leopard already do most of that? I wish DAV supported OSX metadata and symlinks so it didn't break most package installers. My Linux DAV server requires me to protect most everything with a DMG or zip.
I have not even opened the app yet but have a few observations. They have embraced forums for support... points awarded. They seem very enthusiastic about their baby.. points for that. They have embraced Core Image.. major points for that. They adopt new standards like WebP.. points for that. All in all Pixelmator is worth a look for sure and very affordable to boot.
I was a PTH guy (free mode) until recently. I started to suspect it was really slowing down my boot times. Jumpcut rose like cream to the top of the recently rev'd clipboard apps I found here. I am on the same page as the developer (unlike his wife) and Jumpcut works pretty much the way I want it to. Simple and Mac like with transparency and some nice effects but at the core non-intrusive. PTH is probably functionally better but it has become bloated. I would rather compromise with the simple nature of Jumpcut. Thanks
If you run most of the time on Leopard as non-admin neither Geektool or MKconsole can show you /var/log/system.log because of lack of permissions. Somehow Console.app manages to in "Log Database Queries" but NOT directly. Is any of this registering with anyone? I am torn between thinking you should not have routine access to system.log as a regular user, but I also need to see it, so for convenience I would like to solve this.

As an alternative front end to our Cisco VPN client it is no way worth $20 for a little less screen clutter. We will be removing it from our Tiger build unless the EULA allows us to keep using the 1.x version.
Author promised that "Wallet" item passwords would honor the option to display the field hidden by the end of last year. 2 or 3 minor revisions later there is still no way to hide them.
