If anyone is worried about the issue mentioned below, iVideo 4.2.3 no longer allows you to select the thumbnails folder in the Application Support folder as your movie library. You will only be asked to find your movie library if you move your movie library to a different drive, disconnect the drive, then try adding a file to your movie library.
I made a few changes to iVideo in response to the problems reported here:
- iVideo is now a 15-day demo instead of limiting you to 25 movies per library. This will allow you to make sure iVideo can handle all of your movies correctly.
- Importing is now handled by a separate helper app that runs in the background, which means iVideo will be more stable during imports.
Hopefully that will result in a much improved experience for some people.
