After installing and letting it start indexing for a while, I had mdimport crashing every few seconds until I ripped out every single file the GD installer installed according to the description on Daring Fireball. Still willing to try the next release, since being able to search my hd, the Web and my gmail account through one interface could be handy.

Would love to love TotalFinder, but Finder CPU usage frequently spikes to 50-70% even when a different app is active while I'm using it. Any idea what's going on?
