It still says it's version 2.21, and it forgets sound volume and mute preferences after a while. Great screensaver with serious flaws that haven't been dealt with in years. Therefore only two stars. Sorry.

GPGTools Installer

Install 20120317 with GPGMail 201 (a30) at your own risk, if you're on Mac OS 10.6.8. Since installing the new version I am unable to reply to emails or compose a new email from scratch. Other plugins: ASP, Herald, Letterbox, MailFollowUp, MailHub, MailRecent, MailTabs, MailTags, Rocketbox, TruePreview, Letter Opener. The previous version of GPGMail worked fine with Mail and these plugins, so GPGMail is definitely the perp here. Fix this! Now!

Okay, found the error. The GPGTools Installer doesn't check the operating system for all the GPGMail component. It tells me that it will install GPGMail for Snow Leopard, but installs the Lion version instead. If you're on Snow Leopard, install the current GPGTools, but download the GPGMail v1.3.3 for 10.6 here – http://www.gpgtools.org/gpgmail/index.html – and install that as well. Then it should work again.

It sounds great, stylish, different, distinctive; it's versatile, elegant, not too simple; it feels natural, when I play it, even though it's a drum synth; if you don't compress the sounds too much, it even mixes neatly with natural ensembles like an orchestra; there's no needless CPU, RAM and HD strain… but that's just the choir preaching back: I'm a sucker for modeling plugins. The only thing I do miss is 3rd party drum kit extensions. (But to be honest, I haven't looked around enough. Maybe there are some already.) Absolutely recommended.
