Thanks to the developers for making this a free upgrade. I purchased ResizeMe 1 last fall and it has saved me a lot of time since.

I put some of the new features -- in particular the drop shadow and reflection effect -- to immediate use and it works great.

I travel a lot and needed an app to rip my DVDs onto my iPhone -- Handbrake did this beautifully.

This application looks stunning and covers my basic image editing needs. It doesn't get 5 stars because it doesn't offer a built-in drop shadow or reflection filter, something "the rest of us" like myself need frequently.

iArchiver

This a highly versatile application that's proven its worth over and over. It easy interface also make it a joy to use.

I recently had to convert some RAR files to ZIP for my colleagues and with iArchiver this was a breeze.

What I also found very useful was its support to create and extract Apple disk images (dmg) and 7-zip files (7z) that I find myself using frequently.

Color Schemer Studio

This is great application that excels in ease of use. I found it indispensable when designing websites, flyers, or any diagram that involves color.

A very nice bonus feature is the photo schemer -- having Color Schemer find a color scheme for you from a photo.
