Sorry- forgot to say. First post was home system, second was work system, not same Macbook models, home one is 1-2 yrs older. Home system using Firefox and Apple Mail, no VMware or Office 2008.
Have just installed TotalFinder and have only ran it for a short while but so far OMG! There is no excuse for Apple not buying this and making it part of Finder from the get-go. Drag & Drop copy to spring-loaded Tabs, quick switching between tabs, absolutely the most usable "tweak" type utility I've installed in years. I still kinda miss Windowshade, but after a few more days with TotalFinder I don't think I'd go back even if they released a SnowLeopard version. Bravo!
Fails to launch for me. 2.5 ghz Macbook Pro, last non-unibody model. OS X 10.6.3 with updates applied. Immediate error dialog thrown. Not forced into 64bit boot. Also running Spaces and VMware Fusion if that would make any difference. Otherwise just regular "work" apps... Firefox, Office 2008 etc.
App opens for a couple of seconds with what looks like scrambled view of the desktop in the main window, then crashes with a "Report, Ignore, Reopen" dialog. Older Aluminum Macbook Pro w/10.6.3 and all updates applied.
I really like version 140. I have been unable to open 141 or 142 as the Disk Image fails to mount with a "Not Recognized" error. I'm not having problems opening/mounting disk images from other downloads. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, any solution found?
[Version 1.4.2]
