Did you try it ?
It doesn't use any conversion engine from anyone as it doesn't even feature conversion.
It is simply a fast ripper, which will work with pretty much every DVDs.
Stop spreading misinformation.
MacTheRipper (the free version) is getting old, doesn't rip correctly many DVDs.
Mac DVDRipper Pro is brand new, and does work (did you try it ? seriously?).
