I use Snapz for about 5 years and i am very happy with it. Today i had a problem with version 2.3.2 quitting immediately after launching. I've emailed the support and received a response with a working solution after 3 hours. Perfect.

QuicKeys X

I don't understand your problems. I'm using QuicKeys since the early developer previews of Lion and i use it now with OS X 10.7.1. I only have one problem with the system action "precise volume down/up" and replaced it with my own apple script. But all other features are working great. I'm using QuicKeys 4.0.7 (131) with a set of 34 shortcuts. I'm a happy customer.

@Jerryb: Can you describe what your problems are? I'm using the shortcut types "Open Items", "Select Menu Item", "Run AppleScript", and "Type Text" with success. By the way: Startly is still replying on http://forums.startly.com. Maybe you should post your problems there.

Blogged by TextMate team today: "There has been a lot of speculation and trepidation about the future of TextMate recently, mostly about whether there will be another major release. Work on 2.0 began and while we wish it could have been completed faster we are very pleased with how it is turning out. Development has reached a point finally where we can make an announcement: There will be a public alpha release this year, before Christmas, for registered users."

Really appreciate what Georg Seifert and his team are doing here. And i know that competitors are more expensive. But offering this app for $300 is a huge marketing FAIL. The app market and its prices have radically changed in the past three years. Developers can't ignore that.

Giving 4/5 stars nevertheless, because its a great app.

Iconfactory today released version 2.5 which fixes all problems described in my previous review. Raised my rating from 3 to 5 stars. Re-bought it via the Mac AppStore to get the upcoming version 3.0 for free.

Best editor for OS X. There is no third-party app on my mac that i use more often. Wish the Xcode editor had its performance.

No update since 2009. Sent a mail to the support, because the current version does not work on OS X Lion. No answer in 2 months. Purchased both xScope 1.x and 2.x. Now very disappointed and can't find an adequate alternative. Used this app every day.

Thanks for pointing me to PixFit. Great app. It's now part of my daily workflow. I use it in combination with xScope.
