one odd thing I discovered yesterday is that changing the icon of this program (simple copy/paste via Get Info) renders this program as damaged and won't run. weird

this has become ridiculous already with the version numbers ... I know I know, they're in someway trying to duplicate Google's update versions for whatever odd reason, but this seems too ridiculously obvious and glaringly stupid at this point ... I'm wondering why Mozilla is even bothering with a chronological numbering system at this point ... why not name the next release/bug fix Firefox 22VQa31=334&DEFTONEjam ? It would make about as much sense as what they've been doing recently

This program was something I've been looking for, too bad it turned out to be somewhat of a nightmare. I set up only one rule which was simply to move one specific filename to the trash from my Downloads folder to my trash ... what it did instead though was move the entire contents of my Downloads folder to my Utilities folder which was obviously not even close to the rule that I set up, not just that but I was also unable to edit the rule once it was set up, and not just that (once again) it would continue to apply that rule even AFTER I deleted it ... the only way I was able to discontinue the rule from running was to delete the program from my system ... thats just rather scary in my eyes. And to top it all off this is something that the dev wants to be paid $10 to do? No thanks, I will gladly move my files around at random on my own for free.

the new interface is quite slick, especially comparatively speaking. the preferences, which were always a bit of a mess, have been set up in a much tidier fashion than ever. a few features that I would always use don't seem to work though. the rename function, in particular, in the convert and modify section doesn't work for me at all selecting a folder or file and then pressing Go always brought up the Rename window that had all the parameters to choose from ... in this version clicking on the Go menu doesn't do anything.

But the thing thats most bothersome is the fact that I'm not able to use my serial number from GC6 which I just purchased on Aug 25 this year (just a wee bit over a month ago) it was said in the GC support forums, by Thorsten himself, that this would be a free upgrade for anyone that purchased GC6 after April 1 2010 but this doesnt appear to be the case, at least for me, as my Register button remains greyed out after typing in my serial#.

oddly this is exactly what affected me (cant write to my WFS since the 10.6.3 update) yet it doesnt show up in Software Update for me ... hmmm
