This is a nice app. I haven't tried any of the other variants of the 'pasteboard' feature, but this one is cool. So is the iTunes control feature. But that's about all I'd be using this for. Not worth $50, I think, and certainly not worth the $70 You Software's page is selling it for. That's not just a little steep that's insane. It's a nice app, but there are much better things I could use $70 for.
You Control is very stable, and easy to use, has some very well-made features, and if you need them all, is a value. If you are looking for one or two menu options You Control isn't for you, and would just be bloat.
All in all, I'd have to say that someone looking for only one or two of the features this application offers look elsewhere before buying this, as they would be paying more for the unused features than anything else.
I would guess the reason MacVCD is used instead of VideoLAN is that ViedoLAN doesn't actually say in it's description that ot plays VCDs.
Now, can anyone tell me if MacVCD and/or VideoLAN will play SVCD formated discs? I don't have one available to test at the moment, and in fact am not even sure as too the difference, except that my home DVD player will play VCD and not SVCD. :)
So, ah, you know that you don't NEED to use these drivers, right? if you can 'handle' only have ing an equivalent of a 2 button mouse and scroll wheel then OS X supports the mouse just fine.
Far better than the official drivers. Every time I install Microsoft's drivers the movement gets choppy.
Well... It's not as good as a similar program for OS 9 who's name I can't remember, but it's certainly a cool little app, with several features that are quite nice...
Though I've only used it for a few moments, so I won't give a rating yet.
Very good, works basically the same as the Classic note pad.
Some additions (that I always though would be good, or were already in the Classic note pad) I suggest are a 'new note' menu selection, basic rich text functionality [style & color) and an 'Export note' File menu selection that takes a note, saves the contents as an rtf, then clears the note.
Just so long as the interface stays simple.
Though no changes would not reduce the app's usefulness.
Book work is a great app. Why I haven't bought it is because I haven't actually written anything requiring any level of organization, so I've mostly just tested it then trashed it.
Anyway, BookWork is great for one thing in particular, and is useful enough that I'll probably break dow and buy it if I start using it again: Writing RPG campaigns. NPCs go in characters, and the rest is all story. For THESE purposes I would like a couple more features, but beyond that, BookWorm is an excellent program. Maybe a "scrap paper" pad would be cool, just a place for unorganized random ideas to wait for the light of day... hmmm... email time.

the single server I use that still exists works justa bout as well as it used too, so I guess it's just as good.

ftp-config
fair warning to those who haven't yet upgraded (and those silly enough to think they shouldn't)

*shrug* I doubt I'll bother downloading them.
