I happened to be looking for a program that could easily allow me to re-package a h.264 containing m2ts file to m4v. This program worked like a charm transcoding the audio from AC3 to AAC while leaving the video perfect as it was.
I used Fission to cut/edit about 1,000 albums and can say that it saved me so much time compared to other editors I had tried. Navigating, editing, splitting are all super slick in their implementation. I programmed my Kensington TurboMouse to instantly switch between tools to further improve the workflow efficiency. Saving files is also super fast and reliable. Crashes that rarely occurred in earlier versions are basically eliminated. Great quality software and well supported. Give it a try - you owe it to yourself.
OS X 10.5.3 is just as problem free as 10.5.2. I only experienced one issue while running under either two operating systems which is that when I mirror my boot drive to create a duplicate/backup copy, the backup copy requires that the "redo pre-binding" command be executed and then the computer rebooted before the backup drive functions without experiencing failure during most program launch efforts. This problem may not be one that derives from the system OS, but I was hoping that the problem would have been sorted by the update.
[Version 10.5.3]
