I forgot to tell you I'm not the only one who has this problem since Safari 5.1 update. Check "Donw" comment and replies.

I sent you everything possible to troubleshoot the issue. The problem starts with the latest update to Safari. I would love to keep SD. From my part I removed all extensions, plugins and other thing that could interfer with SD but no chance. And last but not least I did'nt get any feedback from you. I moved to Folx because I had no choice. I'm a SD's fan from the early days. In my job as a Mac IT, I always suggest your app to my client and a bunch of them already bought it. And you won't believe me, but I'll continue to suggest it as the best download manager on the Mac. I was just needed some help to troubleshoot it, that's why I was disappointed. I'll go back to SD anytime when this issue will be solved.

Despite the fact I tried several to have an answer with the problem that SD crashes when it starts every time I launch a first download, I didn't get a feedback from Yazsoft. Too bad, I own 4 licenses, and I still like SD, but this issue is really irritating. So I had no choice to move to the competition. I adopt Folx. Sorry Yazsoft, I did everything that is possible to troubleshoot my problem and find a solution, but no chance. In a world of hard competition, a bad service after sale is the worst strategy.

Forget my precedent comment, everything is working fine now. It was probably dealing with a corrupted preferences in Library>Preferences>System Configuration. Thanks for the excellent support at Metakine and especially to Etienne Clement

Is this a joke ?

Frst off all, I don't have a 30 inch display, and I suppose I'm not the only one. Second, we loose features instead of having improvements. No more "login as another user", no more hsitory control except on the most recent. Ok it's in a beta stage, but please take a moment to revise deeply the interface and keep at least the features we already have.

There is a proverb in french that describe that : La montagne accouche d'une souris (The mountain gave birth to a mouse)...

Hi,

I notice when SmartScroll is ON and I use Apple Remote Desktop to control remotely computers the mouse does't respond anymore and it jumps all over the screen. Same problem with ScreenSharing.

I had some trouble with Speeddownload crashing every time it's launched for the first time when I initiate a download with Safari. Since I updated to Safari 5.1.7 with Lion 10.7.4 everything went back to normal. Allelulia

I just installed the latest 1.2 version. I had to remove it. I could not activate my file sharing since this upgrade, as soon as I click on File Sharing in the Sharing Preferences Pan all my computer freezes, I can just move the cursor. I'm going back to previous version 'cause I like this software

I found that the audio plugin in Library/Audio/Plug-ins/HAL/DVCPROHDAudio.plugin crashes Amadeus Pro as soon as it starts. Any idea to resolve that issue without removing the faulty plug-ins

Finally I found why this version is crashing when launched. The problem is an incompatibility with Default Folder. I just add it to the excluded application in Default Folder and everything is working perfectly. May be the developer could check why it's incompatible with Default Folder

There is a problem with this release
1. I have a blue screen at end of startup for about 3 to 5 minutes

2. It conflicts with some startup deamons

3. It does'nt let Unsanity Shapeshifter load (probably an APE Conflict)
