Absolutely the most minimal desktop animator I've seen, especially in terms of saving processor power:
On my old intel MacBook:

CPU time is 0.07, there's only 2 threads, it uses 2.5 MB of Real RAM.

Wish I could test this on my old G4 Tiger Mac Mini.

One thing to note is that it's helpful to place the included sidekick app "Stop Paperscreen" into the dock (or somewhere easily accessible to you) first. Then hide all apps. Looks great with screensavers that fill up the whole screen with colors.

Works fine in Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on an old MacBook Pro. You just have to check on the "Fade Out" option in its options to make it look like the screenshot here.

Impressive! Finally a small twits app that doesn't require Tiger or Leopard! The prefs and submenus were much more than I expected. It uses italics for the secret direct messages! Why didn't anyone else think of this? It does some nice cacheing too. I could do without the scrolling ticker at the top, but it's cool.
