I had the same problems with this for complex documents and had it occasionally would not export. Sorry folks, not ready for prime time.

If you're willing to spend this kind of money try ReadIRIS Pro. It is an OCR program for scanning text but also converts PDFs to RTF or plain text. It is very accurate, if not fast.

Download the demo, give your email address and wait for their special promo pricing before you buy. You might save $50.

If you just want the text out of a PDF for reading on a Palm, try the free PDF2RTFService from . Sorry, no tables or images.

Highlight the text, choose Services from the Application Menu and select PDF2RTF. Save the resulting file and you're ready to convert it to a pdb.
