I tried to access your website so that I could send the crash report... I can't access your site: "Safari can't open page". Version 1.02 still crashes when I click on 'Scan'.
Sure am glad that I kept QuickTime Player 7.6.6 on my new MacBook Pro with equally new Apple external display. QTPlayer 7.6.6 lets me do what QT Player 10.1 will not: play movies on my secondary screen.
Incredible blunder on the part of Apple devs to create a QT Player that will NOT play movies on a secondary screen. Gee, thanks guys!
After playing this game for several days, I can tell you it is an ego-booster. Playing at the "hard' level, I beat this game all to hell. It is VERY rare it ever beats me. I've gammoned and backgammoned this sucker so many times. The AI behind this game is extremely weak. It doesn't even know the proper move when it gets a 6 and a 5 as an opening roll. It's like playing against my 5 year old nephew. Sure hope it gets some real guts so it can provide a challenge.
Been using this app for a long time, several versions. It has always come through for me. Straightforward, intuitive interface, easy to use. It has never crashed on me and I've had it installed on many different Macs. I'm very glad it still works on OS X 10.7.1.
December 17, 2007: A critical bug with Intuit's QuickBooks automatic updater can destroy your desktop files, as documented in Apple and Intuit online support forums.
Ever since I installed iWOW (version 1.1.6 and now version 1.1.8), which I do enjoy using, iTunes (version 7.1, and now 7.1.1) has had an obscene memory leak. I tested it a few times by doing all the usual maintenance routines and restarting my Mac and then launching iTunes and not using it at all for many many hours. iTunes would eventually bloat up to using 200+ MB of RAM, after never even being used. I have plenty of RAM (2 GB) but even so, that is crazy, or so it seems to me.
By the way, I did report this to the developer in great detail. Got an email from them stating someone would get back to me soon. That was maybe a week or more ago and they've not gotten back to me on this. I'm sure they're busy, but...
