BTW, 3 of these functions: all caps, all lowercase, and initial caps for words can all be done by creating a key bindings file. Learn how to do this, and there's a whole bunch of convenient things you can do.

Unfortunately, this method does not let you define functions that can see what the text it's changing contains, so it cannot replace most of the great functionality in WordService.

I love this new functionality, but I wish it wouldn't limit the Smart Quotes command to a single language per user. I use my computer for both English and German, and even though Smart Quotes can handle either, it chooses the language based on a single key in the info.plist file, so you can't set it up to give you both a "Smart Quotes English" and a "Smart Quotes German" function.

Unless, of course, someone out there knows a way to do this.
