It may be the future, but it is not my future. It works, but I find it slow to respond, and it seems that my hand has to be in a very exacting position in order for the camera and program to acknowledge it. As a gimmick, it's okay. As a functional addition to my repertoire, it's not helpful.
I hope someone makes a note of the fact that this is a free update for V. 7 users. I say that because way too often anymore, the moment a developer asks for an upgrade fee, people scream like crazy about it. I saw the same thing happen with Amadeus Pro. They forget about these other moments when developers probably could charge but do not.
I don't know whether to thank you or curse you! This is the best rendition of Space Invaders I've seen for the Mac, and it's been ages since I've been addicted to that game. Because of your brilliance, I now can get nothing else done. : )
Stick with BetterTouchTool. I paid my money for a license days ago and have yet to receive any kind of serial number or correspondence. Yes, I check my junk mail folder for it. Buyer beware; I got ripped off.
To clarify, I paid 6 days ago. Any other reputable developer has always given me some kind of response within 2 days. PayPal was right quick to take my money, though.
I've already given this a high rating and still give it a very high rating. But I'm opting to comment this time so as to not look like I'm trying to skew the rating. I will say that, for $3, this has been a really great program. The developer has been very fast and responsive to ideas, and this current version is much more evolved than the original one. If you like hot corners, you will love this. It takes smart advantage of available screen real estate. It's stable; it's fast; and it's useful. I know people prefer demos, and there is a "lite" version on the author website. I bought this from the MAS without a demo, which is very rare for me. (Read any of my other reviews of programs.) But this was the only program of its kind, and I opted to trust it. I highly recommend taking it for a spin.
Did anyone experience any kind of distortion in the sound with 10.6? I was getting a rather grainy sound to my songs and thought the problem with with Audio Hijack Pro and some plug-ins that I use. Then I tried a different music player and found that it sounded really good. So I went back to iTunes 10.5, and the distorted sound ceased. Apple needs to quit rushing things to market like this. Ambition is fine, but it needs to be tempered with quality control.
When I click on "Visit Developer Site," it takes me to some kind of product showcase site called "Introducing Galaxy Nexus." If that's what you want to give your money to . . . Not sure where customer support's going to come into play here.
We're almost at Mountain Lion, and all their site can say is "we're working on it." Not encouraging. I use this program for its live preview function. How long has Lion been out now? They're still working on it?
I was also getting those error messages. However, if you skip the "Apply" button and go directly to the "Set Dock Location" popup, then choose the location, it works. But you are then stuck with it, as the "undo" button gives you the error message.
It needs work.
