- First the "Download now" button doesn't take you to the the software at all, but rather to APC extra confusing website.
- Second, as far as I can tell, Mac OSX doesn't exist as a platform choice for downloading Powerchute upgrades. So this has no place on Macupdate in the first place.
- Third the previous versions I did use were just better than using nothing at all. The product is good. But the software that comes with it quite lacking in features.
- Fourth, I can't stand hardware manufacturers that have a "free" versions of the soft needed, but charge extra for a "pro" version. If the hardware is so great, hardware makers have all advantage to package software with it that will make the product shine, as opposed to another "batteries not included" ploy, in this case, the batteries are included, but "decent software not included" should be displayed on the package.
Despite this suite being a must have, if you want to be compatible with the rest of the business people, there's lots in that version that leave to be desired.
Worst of all is the ridiculously inefficient SPAM filter.
If you're on the Mac and have junk mail problems, Entourage certainly isn't your answer...
I wish that after so many years, they would get this right... but it seems they're too busy at throwing chairs and plotting against Google ...
