I would give this 5 stars (which I rarely do, reserving such for truly excellent) if it had auto-update (i.e., when new versions come out).
It would also be nice if it could translate one DB to another. That said, nothing else is quite like it, working equally well with such a wide variety of RDBMS.
It's also rock-solid, something that PGAdmin can't claim.
I love Yojimbo, I use it every day, all day. It's one of the very few items on my Mac that I launch on startup (others are LaunchBar and Default Folder). I actually can't say anything more than that in terms of its importance to me.
I use it to store receipts, snippets of code, excel formulas I can never remember, quotations, serial numbers, etc., etc.
Sure I wish there was an iPhone app, but do I NEED one? Nope.
It's a great product from one of the very finest developers for the Mac around.
Hey, it's not because they're stupid that there's no Yojimbo for iPhone/iPad. If they COULD do it, it would be done (based solely on my knowledge of Bare Bones's capabilities from a customer's perspective and from statements they've made in the past).
The new version has a tool that lets you serve most of the content in Yojimbo as web pages, that you can then access from your mobile device.
Yojimbo is awesome and is one of the few things on my system that I launch at startup.
I've seen some of his work before (in fact, I begged him for a desktop wallpaper version of his shot of "my" bike and it's in heavy rotation). Any, I know it this is going to look GREAT! Buy his book, too.
This is PRECISELY what I have been looking for. I've just scratched the surface, but it's fast and flawless so far. I've got my bookmarks synced between Safari, FF2 & 3 and Camino. It's also checking my bookmarks in the background as I type this. Something I've needed to do for a long time.
Quay keeps getting better and better. It's one of the best investments in software I have ever made!
Take the time to read the release notes if you're an existing user, I just spotted the cmd-option-click on running app in the dock to get process details feature, which is pretty cool.
ZOMG! Speed increase alone makes me weak in the knees. The only complaint I had with the earlier version. If you miss the old folder-in-the-dock behavior in Leopard, Quay is your BFF. It rocks.

If you make a living with text files (programming, web development, and such) or need to be able to quickly and easily munge text, BBEdit rocks.
