The system requirements are incorrect on MacUpdate. When you visit the Mac App Store it is stated the minimum OS requirement is 10.5. It is also the same requirement within the application bundle too.
I have serious doubts about the credibility of the people claiming this trojan infected 600,000 Mac computers. I think the numbers are a outright lie and exaggerated to scare people into buying AV software. I was not infected, none of my friends or family were infected. And none of the 10,000+ worldwide clients the company I work for had a single reported infection.
What's to say. Version 4, 5 , 6 and 7 were all plagued with bugs and crashes. Version 7 still doesn't play nice with Flash and randomly crashes Firefox. I gave up of hope waiting the mozilla team will ever fix one single version. Run, don't walk away from this garbage.
I agree part of the way with thirstyrobot's comments. I used the MacUpdate download and wasn't asked for my email. The GUI for this is terrible. It looks like a hodge of podge of buttons and boxes a kid would use for his first basic program.
For $249 this better look a helluva lot more professional than this cheap knockoff of FileMaker Pro templates I can download or make myself for free.
Business software shouldn't be a nightmare to navigate or an eye sore beckoning the user to poke their eyes out after 5 minutes of hell. Clutter and chaos isn't a strong selling feature.
The authors of this should invest the first two or three suckers that pay for it into upgrading the GUI pronto. Make it one (main) or two (prefs/inspector) windows and use tabs to switch between things. This is the year 2011 not 1990.
It would have been so nice if the mozilla team actually fixed just ONE version before starting a new major update! This rush to abandon the last version and ignore the bugs is a really pathetic testament to the shoddy work at mozilla.
Holy moly we're at version 7 of this disaster movie that never ends! I started this road to nowhere at version 2 and it's been all downhill since.
The interface only gets worse each major update. It has gotten slower and more painful to load specific gaming sites. Crashing never ceases. Forget about online banking unless you enjoy crashes midway through transactions. And I do not have any extensions added or ever added them.
Is version 8 due next month? Version 4 - 5 - 6 were just a blur in the last year. LOL

The information above is incorrect.
It is version 1.0.8 for 10.6 and higher when you download from the link. It requires a serial entry.
Anybody have a link to the final universal binary version please? There doesn't appear to be a legacy link on the author's site.
